Like robots, explosions and table top gaming? Also enjoy video games? Awesome, then here’s a neat Australian game seeking some funding: Exodous Wars: Fractured empire by Sydney developers Membraine Studios. Since I can’t say anything better by looking at screen shots, here’s a quote from the developers themselves:

Exodus Wars: Fractured Empire is a 3D turn-based strategy game that captures the core gameplay of miniatures wargaming. It puts players at a Brigade level—allowing them to control and manoeuver infantry, armour companies, and massive super-vehicles such as the mighty Marcovian Behemoth on the futuristic battlefields of the Exodus Wars universe.

 

The vision is that the game will ultimately include an online mode for players who wish to challenge their friends or top strategists in the Exodus Wars community. Individual battles will contribute to the larger conflict, bringing tabletop dynamics to life on a massive scale.

The game already looks like it has a solid sense of scale, those super-vehicles look pretty super (and pretty pretty) when standing alongside tanks and infantry. The developers have also spoken pretty confidently about the games mechanics and systems, which is great to see when looking  at a crowdfunding project.

Exodus war’s looks neat, as a on again off again war gamer and constant video gamer I wish Membraine the best with getting their project funded and out there, now, if only I could scrounge up some money for an alpha pass..
